Macroeconomics is a field that studies how the aggregate economy behaves. The “behaviors”, such as inflation, price levels, national income, gross domestic product and changes in unemployment are closely related to job availabilities and opportunities. When inflation occurs in a nation—general increase in prices causes the fall in consumption—the economy declines. The downfall of economy resulted shortage in funds for companies. Companies then have to cut down their employees to alleviate such conundrum. This synchronic layoff causing more unemployment in the nation and fewer job openings. Gross domestic product of macro-economy also has to do with vacancies. Gross domestic product is the “total value of goods produced and services provided in a country during one year” (Wikipedia). As people in the country starting to demand more, this value increases which mean an increase in production. As a result, companies will open more positions to keep up with this increment. People would then have more possibilities and opportunities to obtain a job. Moreover, if most people have a job, the economy would rise as well. The more people who have an income, the more taxation the nation will received which increase the national income as a whole. If the national income rises, governments would use the funds to create more programs for their people which can lead to more enterprises and more job openings. Macro-economy and job openings are interacting. Many aspects of the economy like taxation, inflation, and etc. are all factors that can affect the possibilities of acquiring a job. In general, as the aggregate economy boosts, more jobs will be available. The job outlook for aerospace engineering is bright. As much of the workforce for aerospace engineering is turning older and retiring, a new generation of aerospace engineers will get the chance to step up to an industry of innovation and design. Along with this new generation comes new technological ideas and sects of the aerospace industry. For example, people usually consider aerospace engineering to revolve only on large machines like jets and missiles, but drones are becoming popular and more useful. The authorities use them in first-aid response, while researchers use them when estimating water resources or crop yields. But in order to allow these small aerial machines to accomplish all these functions, aerospace engineers will have to improve their designs to make them be able to fly further with a greater payload. And as drones are assigned with new and different tasks, like delivering packages, it will be up to aerospace engineers to modify and test the drones with each new task.
Additionally, established aerospace companies, like Boeing and Airbus, are always trying to improve their jets’ features. The science of flight is already cracked, so these companies need to innovate the systems that planes rely on daily. They are aiming to make more fuel efficient, eco-friendly, and safe planes. But to accomplish this mission, they need more researchers and designers, with new knowledge on sustainable designs and technology. They will have to hire new aerospace engineers, who also have a understanding about structural and sustainable designs, as they aim to create lighter planes that will fly great distances with less fuel than traditional plans. Also, new engineers with an understanding of coding will be depended on to code navigation systems that will track planes and eliminate the mystery in plane crashes or disappearances. Private industries are also making a large entry into the aerospace business. Companies, like Space X, aim to make launching satellites and humans into space cheaper and more efficient. So, there is an increasing demand for aerospace engineers from these companies as they want to build smaller satellites, create reusable parts for rockets, and design new systems that improve how rockets are launched. The private aerospace industry is exciting as it is developing new technology that will one day allow Americans to return to space on an American-made rocket and travel further than we have before. It is an exciting time to become an aerospace engineer, and the job-prospects indicate that. Today’s modern macro-economy is centered around technology. E-commerce is huge as money, stocks, and more are traded over the internet. Also, many American companies design and sell innovative technology to consumers. The days of blue-collared jobs is fading in America, a many young Americans dream of becoming IT professionals, engineers, e-commerce brokers, and many technology-related jobs. And as technology progresses with new inventions, like virtual reality and artificial intelligence, there will continue to be a need for hard-working technology employees. So, the possibilities of obtaining a career in the technology-career field are high as the internet and technology-based companies take root in today’s society.
Business interactions of a modern macro-economy naturally happens over the internet. There is a saying that time is money, and to not waste time, and many businesses find it easier to interact over the internet to spawn new connections. Meeting face to face requires a unique vacancy in the schedule that many businesses do not have at the same occasion. But by connecting via internet, businesses can interact with each other at any time or place, not wasting a valuable second. From business videoconferences to work emails, the internet serves as the highway for productivity of today’s economy. And people, who are seeking new jobs, usually go on a search engine or a job site to look for jobs. They submit resumes and apply for these jobs online as many employers find it more convenient for them to receive every paperwork digitally and on-demand. So, as the macroeconomy is internet-based, it is natural for many companies and people to have their whole businesses centered around it and technology. Many Fortune 500 Companies are focused on technology, like Google, Amazon, and Apple. They are continually hiring the best and brightest students out of college to continue drive the innovations occurring at these companies. And with big ideas and innovations come large profits. So, as just as hard as large companies compete against each other to see who have the best and most profitable idea, they compete hard against each other to find the brightest future employees. There are many job openings for technology companies as these companies want to find the next best coder to give their companies the competitive edge in a cut-throat technology-based economy. Also, it is also important to remember the “garage start-ups” that aim to fight gigantic technology corporations. With the internet, it is easy for anyone to be their own boss and market their own ideas or goods. Many people create their own websites or use e-commerce platforms, like eBay and PayPal, to sell their products. These people desire to cut their own profitable share in the large technology economy, so there’s really no limit on the possibility of becoming a part of today’s modern economy. Technology education is vital in today’s society. For many students, they live in a world full of computers, phones, and other technology. So, it is important for them to understand the mechanics behind these technologies and expand their knowledge and interactions with any gadget they can get their hands on. But it is through this education experience, that students earn the important skills for the 21st century work environment. By being enrolled in a technology class, students gain the skills of effective communication, coding and software skills, and
Many employers desire for employees, who have knowledge of coding and other computer skills. Most things today can be designed and created on the computing devices. But in order to design an app or use CAD software to make a chair, a person needs background information on computer skills. Technology education provides engineering and computer science classes, so students can learn how to design a website, code an application, use engineering design software to build 3D models, and much more. Through scheduled classes and helpful teachers, students develop computer skills that are hard to obtain by themselves. They also earn course credits and even certifications that prove their developed computer skills. Plus, extracurricular activities and clubs provided by schools, like coding club or Technology Student Association, allow for students to build on their computer skills afterschool. By then end of their learning period, students should have complex computer skills and be able to find success in the workplace, as they are more likely to be hired than any other job candidates. Plus, they tend to get higher-paying jobs and pay raises as they have a much-needed skill in the workplace. Technology education causes a great effect on people’s future careers, but it also positively affects their social skills, like team-work ability. An underrated aspect of technology education is teamwork. It is not easy when having to solve a problem. So, it is important for students to work in partners or teams when handling difficult scenarios. For example, the problem involves coding program, it is always encouraged to have students take turns as they being new ideas to make the code efficient and error-free. Another example is when engineering students brainstorm and design a new device as a group. Through this teamwork, technology students learn how to trust one another, communicate effectively, and be responsible when fulfilling their assigned parts. In the real work environment, especially for the technology sects, teamwork is needed and encouraged to get large assignments done. So, it is critical for students to develop their abilities to work in groups or teams now in technology education classes, before facing harder team challenges in the work environment that will make or break their careers. Most young adults want high-paying careers and a prosperous future. But before they can obtain these desires, they have to prepare themselves in school to be able to reach these goals. Technology education is one of the clear paths any student can take to reach a bright future. Through any one of the technology education class, they learn valuable computer skills and how to operate better as a team. And high-paying employers search for and require these skills as they want employees, who are compatible in a group-based work environment and be able to make key contributions to the technology aspects of the work assignments. So, it is important that students learn and develop these skills now in technology education classes.
